Shiva Mahamrityunjaya Mantra

"tryambakaṃ yajāmahe sugandhiṃ puṣṭi-

vardhanamurvārukam

iva bandhanān mṛtyor mukṣīya māmṛtāt"

The great mantra dedicated to Shiva as Mrityunjaya is 

found in the Rig Veda.

May we be liberated from death for the sake of immortality.
